In late August or early September each year, following the Sunday morning worship service, Bethany holds its annual
church picnic, a time of recreation, relaxation and fellowship.
Traditionally, it was often held at the Swedish-American Club in Westminster. More recently it has been held at other area locations with recreational facilities where members of the church work or have memberships. For the past few years, it has been held at the Templeton Fish and Game Club. This year (2011), it will be held at Camp Collier in Gardner, which you can see and read about here.
