This Month's Program
Each
month we tell you what the children will be learning, any important
dates you should be aware of, including special events and programs
that you might need to bring something in for, as well as providing
reminders of various policies and things you need to know for the
particular month. Plus you'll see previews of what's coming up.
BCNS September Curriculum
During the month of September, this
is what we will be learning about:

Tuition payments should be
received by the first of every month and no later than the seventh regardless
of the date on the check or money order.
The corresponding Payment Coupon
should accompany monthly tuition payments.
If you cannot get your
payment in to the school mailbox by the 7th, please mail it to BCNS/72 Ryan
St./Gardner, MA 01440/attn: Joanie Elbourn.
It should be postmarked by the 7th to avoid a
late fee. In the event of a problem with
payment, please contact Joanie Elbourn at (978)632-4731.
BCNS Birthday Snack Sign-up
The Birthday snack sign-up sheet next to the Parent's Bulletin Board
near Mrs. Blais' room is for those children who are celebrating their birthdays
in the months of Sept. and Oct.
Please check the schedule to see if the date
listed for your child is O.K. If not, please notify Mrs. Paddock.
We want to keep the snacks
nutritious. It is important that you become familiar with our Snack Policy here, concerning food labels and
hidden sources of nuts when considering your choice of a birthday snack.
BCNS Parking Lot Safety
Please use caution when entering
the parking lot in the morning and afternoon, and especially when picking
up your child. The children sometimes forget
about cars in the lot coming in and out. P L E A S E D R I V E S L O W L Y !
We need someone to unhook the flags, at both driveways, when it's time to come in. When
unhooking or taking in the flags,
please wait for the last child in line to get onto the sidewalk for safety
reasons before allowing the line of cars to enter the parking area. Thank you.
Also, if you plan to leave your car in the parking
lot to do errands, etc., with a friend, please park your car at the farthest
section of the parking lot (away from the playground) so as not to interfere
with the children's play area.

BCNS Wishing Well
From
time to time, we may have a need for supplies if parents would like to
contribute. This
is not mandatory.
This month we can use:
Lysol disinfecting wipes (for
wiping the tables)
Baby Wipes
Crayola Washable markers
We would greatly appreciate these.
BCNS Change of Clothes Policy
We would
appreciate your sending a change of
clothes for each child to be kept in his/her backpack (preferably in a
Ziploc bag) in case of emergencies.
These
are to taken home at the end of each
school day. Please make sure that your child's
name appears on his/her coat, sweater, etc. as well as his/her backpack and
lunch bag, and the clothes in the Ziploc bag.
BCNS Physical Exams & Shots
Don't
forget your child's shot record and Physical
form. If your child is having a physical within the next week or two,
please give his/her teacher a note saying when it will be.Physical forms need a date on them, the date
of the exam...not when the form was filled out.
Your
child should also have had a lead
screening.
The regulation regarding chicken pox for
preschoolers is that each child must either have had the virus, been
inoculated, or have a note of exemption from his/her doctor.
The playground has been groomed
and cleaned for the children’s outside playtime. We appreciate your help in
keeping it free of litter. Please note that the playground equipment is
designed only for small children.
