Bethany Cares Ministries and Programs

Our Bethany Cares initiative, under the guidance of the Deacon Board, is one way we work to accomplish the outreach vision of the church.


Through Bethany Cares, we seek to serve the greater Gardner community by continuing to share the good news of Jesus Christ through our weekly, bi-weekly and on-going community-based programs.


Weekly, Biweekly

  • COMMUNITY HOT MEALS (Monday evenings) - Serving meals and the gospel to area community members to provide both physical and spiritual sustenance.

  • PRAYER FELLOWSHIP (Tuesday evenings) - Coming together to share concerns and needs and uplift them in intercessory prayer, led each week by one of the Deacons.

  • VISITATIONS (Tuesday evenings) - Visiting people in the community who have visited the church or been touched by our other ministries in some way.

  • YOUTH MINISTRIES (Tuesday evenings) - Ministering to young people in grades 6-12 with fun activities and Bible studies to strengthen their moral and spiritual foundation and inspire them in the joy of knowing the Lord.

  • KIDS' CLUB - ALL STARS FOR JESUS (Wednesday evenings) - Ministering to children in grades K-6 with fun activities and Bible studies to introduce them to the joy of knowing the Lord (Wednesday nights).

  • CHOIR (Wednesday evenings) - Praising the Lord in song, supporting one another and sharing fellowship with our seasonal extended members (Gardner Community Choir, other choirs) throughout present special music throughout the church year and for church holidays (Easter, Christmas).

  • NEW MOM'S GROUP (1st and 3rd Friday mornings) - Offering new mothers, particularly those with children in the BCNS, an opportunity to share experiences and learn from each other, with a Christian focus.

On-going, Monthly & Annual

  • DEACON'S FUND: Supporting the urgent needs of individuals and families. Contact the church office, the pastor or one of the deacons to request assistance that may be available through this ministry.

  • VETERAN OUTREACH - Extending a helping hand to local veterans and their families.

  • BETHANY CHRISTIAN NURSERY SCHOOL (BCNS) - Providing a Christian alternative to secular preschools, ensuring a wholesome environment for children ages 3-7 years.
  • FAMILY MINISTRY - Strengthening families through monthly events for parents and families.
  • HEALTH MINISTRY: Meeting the wholistic needs of the congregation and the community by providing educational and medical resources in a Christian context.
  • OUR FATHER'S DRESSER - Making new clothing donated by WalMart available to community members in need of this support.
  • SINGSPIRATION (2nd Sunday of each month) - Praising the Lord in hymns and songs that you choose. If you like traditional hymns or praise and worship songs, join us as we come together one Sunday evening of each month for an hour of uplifting and inspirational worship.
