About Bethany Baptist Christian Education

Bethany’s Christian Education program encompasses a wide range of programs and activities for the entire church family of children, young people and adults. The ministries within the Christian Education program are led by:

Sunday School Superintendent

Mrs. Paula D'Entremont
CE Board Chairman

Mrs. Natalie Mercier
BCNS Teacher

Mrs. Fredericka Paddock

Throughout the year, the CE Board sponsors a variety of programs for children and adults. The CE Board and the Sunday School Superintendent select and support the Sunday School teachers throughout the year.

Bible studies for all ages are available in weekly Sunday School classes. Our Sunday School programs continue during the summer, often with teachers other than those who serve during the regular school year.

In June, Children's Day recognizes the children and youth, with Bibles given to 4th graders, and high school and college graduates are also recognized later in the month.

A themed Summer Festival (called "The Great Awakening Weekend" this year) occurs in July. The new school year kicks off with Rally Day in September.

During the school year, the Bethany Christian Nursery School (BCNS) offers a Christian-based curriculum for children ages 3-5.

Our overall philosophy is embodied in two verses:

“The wise person makes learning a joy.” (Proverbs 14:2)

“Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old,
he will not depart from it.” (Proverbs 22:6)
