Richard
Patterson, Jr., is a children and family life specialist who has
worked with children and families for over 30 years. He travels widely,
speaking to parents in church and community groups all over the United
States. In addition to numerous magazine articles, Patterson is the author of Brand-Name Kids: The Loss of Childhood in America (Revell), It's The Little Things That Count (Thomas Nelson), Confident Parenting in Challenging Times: Essential Convictions of Highly Successful Parents (Tekna), Families with Faith: Survival Skills for Christian Parents (Scripture Union), and Parenting: Loving our Children with God's Love (InterVarsity). Richard is employed full time by Scripture Union USA as a writer/editor of daily Bible reading material.
