Curriculum

Grades K-6 use the Gospel Light curriculum. This allows students to complete an overview of the Bible twice if they continue in our curriculum from preschool through grade 6.

Pre-School Church (held during the worship service, starting after the congregational prayer) uses the curriculum, “My God and Me.” The lessons correlate with those being taught in the Sunday School Pre-School class. This reinforces the lesson for those who have been in Sunday school and presents the lesson to those who did not attend Sunday School. The stories are the same, but the activities used to enhance learning are different. A combination of adults and young people team up to lead Pre-School Church.

Other Christian Education programs include:

Youth Ministries (Grades 6-12), Brendon MacKay, Director

All Stars for Jesus Kid’s Club (Grades K-5), Deacon Richard Martin and Mrs. Susan Meiners, Leaders.

The Sunday School current supports the ministry of CURE International. Tim Erickson, who grew up at Bethany Baptist, is the Regional Director of Development for this program.
