September 3, 2023, Annual Church Picnic
The C. E. Board is hosting this year’s annual church picnic in our recreation area behind the parking lot (in Fellowship Hall if it rains). Join the church family after the worship gathering for a time of fellowship and food as we welcome everyone back from vacation.
The C.E. Board will provide the meat (burgers, hot dogs, associated buns & condiments), drinks, plates and utensils. Attendees are asked to bring side dishes, desserts and lawn chairs. Please sign up how many are attending from your household so we’ll know how much food and drink to provide. The sign-up sheet is available in the Commons. Volunteer sign-up sheets are also available for inside (kitchen) and outside tasks, too.

Friday Ladies’ Bible Study Resumes on September 8
The Ladies Bible Study that meets two Fridays a month is starting again on September 8. This year Elizabeth George will be guiding us in a journey through the Book of Philippians. Join us at 1 p.m. in the Main Floor Lounge. Contact Jodie Haimila for more information or to reserve a book for yourself (978-906-3621/ Jodie.Haimila@gmail.com). The schedule will return to the first and third Fridays in October.
North Central Collective Annual Picnic on September 9
Being a part of Converge and the North Central Collective (NCC) reminds us that the Church is so much larger than just us. Mark your calendars to join us for a wonderful time of fellowship with our sister NCC churches on Saturday, September 9, beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Bethany Bible Chapel, Spring Street in Winchendon. Hot dogs and hamburgers will be served. Please bring side items and/or desserts to share. Activities will be available for all ages.
Missions Board Luncheon With Mike Crandall, September 24, 2023
The Bethany Missions Board will host a special luncheon in Fellowship Hall after the worship gathering for Mike Crandall. Mike was a Wycliffe Bible translator who worked extensively in the early efforts at a Zaza translation of the New Testament. He recently traveled to the Zaza territory and helped on the ground in earthquake relief work.
Please sign up in The Commons to tell us who will be attending and whether you’re bringing a salad, baked goods, chips or other snacks to share. The Missions Board will provide pizza and drinks.
First Youth Group Meeting, Tuesday, September 26, 2023
Bethany’s new Youth Group will hold its first meeting on this date from 6:30-8:00 p.m. They will meet in the 3rd floor game/activity room, so students can use the side door from the parking lot and go directly upstairs.

Ladies’ Fall Brunch & Craft Event, Saturday, September 30, 2023
Bethany ladies are invited to join together in Fellowship Hall, starting at 10 a.m., for a time of fellowship and crafting. Please bring a brunch item to share and $5 if you want to do the craft.
